Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register my child?
Once your child is 18 months old, pop into the Pre-School during any session and fill in a small form and pay a small registration fee. Our registration secretary will then contact you when there is a place for your child.

When can my child start?
Children can start from 2 and over. Places are offered at the discretion of the committee, supervisor and Ofsted.

How many days can my child attend?
Children usually start with 1 or 2 days per week at first and this can be increased to 5 if space permits.

How do I know I've got a place?
Our registration secretary will write to you and tell you when you have a place and will invite you and your child to come for a visit.

Does my child have to be toilet trained?
Children do not have to be fully toilet trained to start Pre-School. Children in nappies or pull-ups will be changed if necessary.

Are the children given anything to eat or drink?
Milk / water is provided. We encourage children to bring fruit / vegetables for their snack. The Pre-School can accommodate any dietary/medical requirements.

Where can I find the Privacy Notice?
An online copy of the Privacy Notice, which relates to data protection, can be found here. Alternatively you can request a printed copy from the Pre-School.
